Why should I use Indaba?
Because you want to sell on more marketplaces. Because you want one tool that integrates inventory, fulfillment and customer service. Because you want to expand and you are tired of messing with multiple applications that don't work together, and don't work for you.

How long has Indaba software been around?
Indaba was developed for use by Better World Books, which has been using it for over three years. In that time, Indaba has processed over 3 million books, 1 million orders, 400,000 customer service emails, and over 1 billion lines of competitive pricing data since its first working release in March of 2003.

What markets does Indaba support?
Indaba supports Amazon.com, eBay (ProStores and stores), Half, Alibris, Abebooks, Biblio, Amazon international sites (the UK, France, Germany, Canada and Japan). We are also working on expanding to new markets-eBay auctions support will be supported in the next release.

Is Indaba only for selling books?
Definitely not! Although Indaba was designed for a bookseller, you can use Indaba to sell anything with a UPC or ISBN. Indaba is also particularly good for CDs, DVDs and games.

What is the relationship between Indaba and Better World Books?
When Better World Books (BWB) originally began selling books online in 2002, the company was not satisfied with the available software. After briefly using other systems, BWB decided to develop its own software.

Realizing that its enterprise software had significant advantages over other applications, BWB launched Indaba Systems in August 2005 to license the inventory management software created by its internal software development team.

In February 2006, Indaba reverted to advanced beta status, to focus on stability for existing clients. Indaba is not actively pursuing new clients, we are selectively adding new users that we believe will benefit greatly from using the software.

Can I run Indaba on my Macintosh?
Unfortunately, no. Currently you can only run Indaba on a computer with Windows®.

How much does Indaba cost?
Each version carries a different set-up fee and a monthly fee based upon a percentage of sales. Click here for more.
